In celebration of its 40th year, Meewasin initiated a capital project to improve the trail system, 
increase education and interactive experiences, and enhance natural areas within the river valley conservation zone. This is the first phase in a long-term plan to rejuvenate this iconic natural landscape that is a jewel for our province.
The funds raised through this campaign will cover the cost of upgrading three trail sections, building a new greenhouse and seed bank, and improving education and programming opportunities.
The quiet phase of the campaign began in fall 2020 with a fundraising goal of $23 million. Gifts may be pledged over three to five years and recognition opportunities are available for gifts of $1,000 or more.
