Learn to help with Tree & Shrub identification, which is integral to the health of our valley in the winter months - Tracking with us can do a lot of good, for both the well-being of the valley and the knowledge within our community! On Saturday, begin with getting some info from one of Meewasin's team members at the info booth before heading out on the trail to explore on your own. Enjoy a tour of the trails with Renny Grilz, Meewasin's Resource Management Officer, tours will be offered on Saturday at 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM for volunteers only.
On Sunday, you'll be out on your own, tracking information and reporting it to the iNaturalist database in a designated area. Please note that day two of this event is non-guided and can be done at your own leisure.
