The Cameco Meewasin Skating Rink @Nutrien Plaza is open for the season as of December 15th, 2021! Located in Kiwanis Memorial Park North beside the Delta Bessborough Hotel, this beautiful outdoor rink is available to pre-registered skaters.

Things you should know:

- Pre-registration is required to guarantee a spot on the ice. We have one-hour time slots open from 1 pm to 8 pm Wednesday to Sunday with a maximum capacity of 50 people, including staff. Walk-ups will only be accepted if we are under capacity.
- Bring your own skates! For safety reasons, we are not lending skates to the public.
- Dress for the weather! Chalet access is restricted to employees only, the fire pit will be run for warmup opportunities.
- Please be on time! Skate times start promptly on the hour and spaces will be canceled or given to walk-ups if you are over 10 minutes late.
- Masks are strongly recommended and physical distancing (from members not in the same group) will be mandatory for all visitors.
Register now! We release new skate times every Monday at 12 noon. If bookings are full please check back to register for a later date.
Winter is cool, but no shows aren’t! If you have booked a skate time and can no longer attend, please cancel your booking on Eventbrite or phone the rink at 306-229-8827 so we can make your space available to another skater.

The Meewasin Skating Rink, has the best skating views in Saskatoon! Its located on the edge of the South Saskatchewan River valley in the heart of downtown; a true gem within the community! This welcoming space that features an outdoor skating rink, fire pit, twinkling lights, and hosts several skating parties every year, needs donations to maintain activities! Over 45,000 people per year visit so even a small donation can go a long way to supporting the facility.
